They open up their beautiful course for the event, support the Friends in arranging it and donate all green fees paid by the participants. 

This fabulous support enabled the HCT to provide a grant to the Wauchope Palliative Care Unit of $14,757 to purchase a hydraulic assist layback commode shower chair. 

 Mary Trotter accepted the grant certificate from Brendon and Kate and spoke of the many benefits of the chair, both to the patients and the staff caring for them. Around 80% of patients that are cared for in their final days by the amazing staff at the Unit are cancer patients.
