Port City Bowling Club has partnered with Hastings Cancer Trust to deliver four comfortable recliners to Wauchope District Memorial Hospital’s Palliative Care Unit.
The $9082 donation to the HCT through the Club Grants program means patients will have ergonomic, fully adjustable recliners to rest or sleep in.The chairs will also be welcomed by family members who want to stay with their loved one overnight.
Our annual golf day fundraiser at Emerald Downs Golf Course was well attended and $10,500 was raised through hole sponsorship, 100 club draw, raffle tickets and donations.

2018 Grant recipients, sponsors and fundraisers come together to celebrate
Grants recipients were presented certificates by many of the sponsors and community groups who had helped to raise funds for the Trust during 2018. It was a fantastic opportunity to hear how the monies would be spent on local cancer needs.
