Lake Cathie Women’s Bowling Club host annual fashion show and afternoon tea
The amazing Ladies from the Lake Cathie Women’s Bowling Club / Lake Cathie Bowling Club broke their previous fundraising achievements by raising $3000 for the Hasting Cancer Trust at their annual Biggest Afternoon Tea & Fashion Show.
Lorraine, committee member and Anne, President of the LCWBC (both in the main photo) were delighted with the turnout for the event. Anne said everything for the Afternoon Tea had been donated by the local businesses in the community including the jam and cream for the scones. Even the plants on the table were auctioned off.
Steve and Hazel, attending the event as representatives for the Hasting Cancer Trust said it was lots of fun. The fashion show was entertaining and the scones were delicious. We are already looking forward to next year.
