The unit was bought with the support of a Hastings Cancer Trust Grant and is one of a number of units currently being used by patients in their homes while under the care of Nurse Vicki Hope.

Vicki said when a patient has been assessed as having poor lung function the unit, which runs of a standard 240v power point, can be deployed easily to the home making life a little more comfortable for patients suffering from shortness of breath.
